who should attend

The Presentation series: Family and community...

Studies show that children of interfaith parents who are not raised in either tradition generally grow up without an identity in either faith. They gravitate toward a blended cultural awareness of both communities, but when it is time for them to raise their own children they usually default to their spouse’s religion. If you want your children to preserve your heritage you need to make a decision and give them a foundation in one faith and teach them to honor the other faith tradition. And yes, it is hard work, but it is worth the effort.
  • Parents who are considering how to raise children, including those trying to incorporate more than one faith.

  • Educators, Clergy, Teachers who interact with parents and their children.

  • People who are in interfaith relationships and considering having children.

  • Extended family who want to know how they can be helpful.
